Connecting Classrooms with Clean Energy An Industry Visit to IB Solar

  • The transition from classroom learning to a professional environment can be one of the most important steps in a student’s journey. An industrial visit offers students something that textbooks cannot always provide—a chance to see how knowledge, technology, people and processes come together in the real world.

    Recently, IB Solar welcomed BBA and BCA students from Agra College Agra for an educational visit to its solar manufacturing facility. The visit gave students an opportunity to look beyond the classroom and understand the rapidly evolving world of renewable energy, solar manufacturing and industry operations.

    For many students, seeing a solar module manufacturing environment firsthand can change the way they understand the subject. Concepts that may seem theoretical in a classroom—technology, production, quality, operations, management and business—become tangible when students see them being applied in an actual industry setting.

    Learning Through Experience

    At IB Solar, interactions with students and academic institutions have consistently demonstrated the value of connecting education with industry. Such experiences often leave students with new questions, new areas of interest and a clearer understanding of the career possibilities available to them.
